QNB Indonesia Supports Financial Literacy Since Early Stage
18 November 2020 - Having a long term commitment to support the improvement of financial literacy since early stage in Indonesia, QNB Indonesia once again conducted the QNB Indonesia Goes to School, which was a part the Bank's annual program.
Different from the previous year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the QNB Indonesia Goes to School program was conducted virtually involving 60 students from SMA Negeri 11 Bandung. The students were given basic financial literacy module, which include basic financial planning, prioritizing expenses and investment. To make the session more fun, the materials were given in an interactive teaching methods through games.
Not only involving the students, the program also engaged the Bank's employees who provided their help by becoming volunteers to teach the basic financial literacy to the students.
Providing a positive result, the program's post test result showed that the students have better understanding after joining the education session.
