Improving Financial Literacy among Elementary Students
Jakarta, 4 December 2019 – QNB Indonesia has a long term commitment to improve financial literacy in the country. Focusing on early stage financial literacy, QNB Indonesia partnered up with Prestasi Junior Indonesia conducted a financial literacy activity targeted to 4th and 5th elementary school students at SDN Karet Kuningan 01.
A total of 45 students participate in the financial literacy activity, where they learned the basic concept of money and how it moves in a community. The students were also engaged in an interactive activity where they learned about tax. The module used in this activity was also given to the school so that other students can also learn about it.
As part of our employee engagement program, during this event QNB Indonesia also encouraged employees to take part. Tens of QNB Indonesia’s employees took part as volunteers to teach and play with the children.
