Validate 16 Digit NPWP Immediately
20 October 2023 - In accordance with Minister of Finance Regulation No. 112/PMK.03/2022 regarding Taxpayer Identification Number for Individual Taxpayers, Corporate Taxpayers, and Government Agency Taxpayers, herewith we would like to remind all customers that taxpayers in Indonesia are required to use the 16 digit Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP).
- Individual Taxpayers are required to use Identity Number or NIK (16 digit) as Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP).
- Corporate Taxpayers need to add "0" (zero) on the existing 15 digit NPWP.
In order to support and comply to the applicable tax regulation, the Bank encourages each Customer to:
- Immediately validate NPWP through djponline.pajak.go.id, Directorate General of Taxation's contact center or nearest District Tax Office (KPP) at the latest by 31 December 2023.
- Following the above step, update your NPWP data, especially for Corporate Taxpayer to include the NPWP of the executive board, the NPWP of the shareholders, and the NPWP of the Guarantor (if any), through the nearest Branch or your Relationship Manager at the latest by 31 December 2023.
Guidance on the NIK as NPWP validation for Individual Taxpayer is available on Directorate General of Taxation’s Youtube channel or click here.
All risks that arise as a result of Customer not doing the validation and data update will completely be the responsibility of the respective Customer.
