Bank QNB Indonesia strengthens financial awareness among young learners through CSR initiative
17 November 2025 – PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tbk (“Bank”), a subsidiary of QNB Group, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, continues its commitment to advancing financial literacy in Indonesia through impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
As part of its ongoing mission, the Bank hosted a financial literacy event on Monday, 17 November 2025, inviting foster children from Dompet Yatim dan Dhuafa foundation (Domyadhu) to the Bank's Head Office. The participants, all elementary-school-aged, were welcomed by employee volunteers who dedicated their time to engage and educate the children throughout the session.
The program introduced the children to essential financial concepts, including the basic function of money, how financial systems operate within a community, various types of jobs, and the role of taxes. These topics were delivered through interactive and enjoyable games designed to make learning simple, relatable, and engaging. By using relevant scenarios and activities tailored to young learners, the Bank ensured that financial knowledge could be understood in a fun and accessible way.
“Introducing financial concepts at an early age is essential. We believe that when children understand how money works and how it supports a community, they grow into individuals who make wiser, more responsible decisions in the future,” said Windiartono Tabingin, Compliance Director of PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tbk.
To further support their learning journey, the Bank distributed study materials, including stationery and books, enabling the children to continue exploring and strengthening their knowledge beyond the event.
This initiative reflects Bank QNB Indonesia’s ongoing commitment to creating meaningful social impact and empowering communities through education. The Bank continues to prioritize programs that foster financial literacy, promote inclusivity, and encourage the active involvement of its employees in community development.
