Fitch Assigns 'AAA(idn)' Rating
Jakarta, 06 February 2026 - Fitch Ratings Indonesia has assigned PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tbk (Bank QNB Indonesia) a National Long-Term Rating of 'AAA(idn)' and National Short-Term Rating of 'F1+(idn)'. The Outlook on the National Long-Term Rating is Stable.
'AAA' National Long-Term Ratings denote the highest rating assigned by the agency in its National Rating scale for that country. This rating is assigned to issuers or obligations with the lowest expectation of default risk relative to all other issuers or obligations in the same country or monetary union.
Bank QNB Indonesia's National Long-Term Rating reflects on Fitch expectation on a high likelihood of extraordinary support from its higher-rated parent, Qatar National Bank(Q.P.S.C.) (QNB, A+/Stable/bbb+) and ultimately, the Qatar sovereign (AA/Stable), in times of need. QNB, which is 50% owned by the Qatar Investment Authority, held 91.57% of QNBI as of end-September 2025.
